Polygon turning machines are offered by Brisk tech engineers in three models like BPTM-1A, BPTM-2A & BPTM-4A . All model are two Axis with servo CNC systems for longitudinal movement, and cross slide with mechanical gearbox fixed spindle speed ratio of 1:1.5 or 1:2. Spindle speeds variable through variable frequency drive. These are suitable for even numbered polygons either at the end of the component OR Middle. Polygon turning process has the shortest cutting time compared to conventional milling. The process is well suited for mass production and batch production. The process done by standard inexpensive turning inserts instead of milling cutters for machining polygons. Polygon machines are concentric to the job axis since the job also rotates along with tools.This proces lowers the cost per piece compared to any other Proces. The desired polygonal surfaces are generated using inexpensive single point turning tools.
